This Santos doll is gorgeous! He is carved entirely of wood with glass eyes and gold metal wings. Though vintage, his finish and patina on the body are distressed to make him look antique. His arms reticulate slightly at the shoulder and elbows. He is finished in a soft taupe color, with a creamy neck and face. The detailing is exquisite. He wears soft gold boots and stands on a shiny gold pedestal that is 3.5 inches tall. His wings are a hammered metal, again with great detail and artistic work. From any angle, he is stunning.
This piece measures 13.5 inches tall; 6.25 inches wide (at the widest part of his wings) and is 3.5 inches deep (at the deepest area of the base). The actual base is 3 inches in diameter. He stands straight, as he should.
There is no damage to this piece and he is in excellent vintage condition!
